Request account deletion
If you have a LISTEN account, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
In-app deletion path
When available in the app, go to:
- Open LISTEN.
- Go to Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Select Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm deletion.
If your current app version does not yet show this path, use the email request button above.
What to include in your email
- Your registered LISTEN email address.
- Your LISTEN username, if known.
- A clear statement that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.
What data will be deleted or de-identified
After verifying your request, we will delete or de-identify personal data associated with your LISTEN account, such as your profile, account details, preferences, and personal identifiers linked to your account.
Data that may be retained
We may retain limited information where necessary for safety, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms. For example, moderation records, abuse reports, security logs, or transaction records may be retained for a limited period if required.
Processing time
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the account owner. Some information may remain in encrypted backups until those backups expire according to our backup schedule.
